Julia Child was an American cooking teacher, author, television personality, and trailblazer. This week, in honor of what would have been her 108th birthday, The Cafe will celebrate by preparing a few recipes from her groundbreaking book, Mastering the Art of French Cooking . Visit us between 10 am-5:30 pm this Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!
Here’s what’s planned:
Monday-Friday: The special soup of the week is Vichyssoise (cold leek and potato soup)
Monday: Quiche Au Roquefort (Roquefort cheese quiche) and Quiche Aux Fruits De Mer (shrimp quiche)
Wednesday: Gâteau Fourré à la Crème d’Orange (sponge cake with orange-butter filling)
Friday: Salade Niçoise (Mediterranean combination salad)
